Terms of Use
Thanks for using Vellum Ink. These terms are short because the app is simple: you write, and your writing is yours.
The agreement
Vellum Ink is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add the specifics below.
Your content
Everything you create in Vellum Ink belongs to you. We claim no rights over your notes, drawings, or the text derived from them.
Self-hosted connectors
The Post feature can send pages to infrastructure you deploy and operate yourself (such as a personal Cloudflare worker). You are responsible for that infrastructure, its costs, and anything you connect it to. Treat its access key like a password.
Supporting Vellum
Every feature is free. An optional one-time contribution — processed by Stripe on Stripe's own site — supports continued development and unlocks nothing, so there is nothing to lose access to. If you contributed by mistake, email us and we'll refund it.
No warranty
The app is provided as-is. We work hard to make it reliable — including loud, visible warnings if a save ever fails — but we cannot guarantee it is free of defects, and we are not liable for lost data or indirect damages to the extent the law allows.
